Cengiz Özkan
Cengiz Özkan is the master of melancholy. Just listen to his CD Oh Instanbul. While Istanbul is also a bustling, on Oh Istanbul Cengiz Özkan showed the hushed side of the metropolis, whose images you recognize of the Istanbul as Orhan Pamuk describes the city. Cengiz Özkan comes with an ensemble of eminent instrumental accompanists. He performs as the last grandmaster of Turkish music in this first season of the Masters of Anatolia series.
